Two Medical Students’ Seminars Deal with Liver Transplantation and Haematuria

The Department of Medicine held two students’ seminars on the topics of liver transplantation and Haematuria on Thursday 15th April 2021.

The 35th seminar entitled “An Introduction to Medical Aspects of Liver Transplantation” was presented by the students: Amna Husam, Israa Nayef, Amna Sabah, Amira Duraid, and Ruqaya Samir under the supervision of Assistant Prof Dr Ismail D. Saeed.

After that, the 36th seminar entitled “Management of Patients with Haematuria” was presented by students namely, Zaid Bashar, Zainab Ahmed, Zainab Khalil, Zeina Youssef and Sumaya Abdel Latif under the supervision of the Lect. Dr Nawaf Y. Mahmoud.

This scientific activity is part of the academic requirements for sixth stage students. Among the attendees was the Head of the Department, Prof Dr Khalid N. Mustafa as well as the general teaching staff and students of the aforementioned stage (medicine group in particular).
