Participation of our college staff in a workshop on the method of inspecting all types of fire extinguishers
Two staff members from the Administrative Affairs Division, Mr. Mohammed Mowafak Hamid and Mr. Khaled Mohammed chachan, represented our college at a workshop titled “The Method of Inspecting All Types of Fire Extinguishers and Granting Their Licenses.” This workshop was organized by the Department of Diwan Affairs / Civil Defense Division at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in Ninawa Governorate. The workshop was presented by Mr. Muamil Amir Younis from the Civil Defense Directorate in Ninawa, and was attended by Mr. Sofian Idris Mohammed, the head of the Civil Defense Division at the university, along with safety officers from colleges and research centers of the University of Mosul. The workshop covered the mechanism for inspecting fire extinguishers and preparing them for use, and it also discussed the types of fires and the extinguishers used to put them out.
