As a part of the scientific cooperation between the Iraqi universities, an academic staff group from the Department of Geology in our College, represented by Dr. Falah Abd Al-Mamaari, Dr. Mahfoud Abdullah Al-Hadidi, Dr. Mahmoud Abd Al-Haqq Al-Sumaidi, and Izzat Ibrahim Khadr, accompanied the students of the College of Remote Sensing at the Al-Karkh University of Science in a field trip to the Bakhir anticline in the Dohuk Governorate, on Monday, the 13th of February, 2023. The field trip included an introduction to the nature of the Bekher fold and its stratigraphic sequence.
