The Department of Biology at the College of Science – University of Mosul held a Master’s thesis defense on Sunday, July 13, 2025, for the research titled:
“Molecular Identification of Some Yeast Species Isolated from Soils and Leaves of Olive Trees.”

The session was attended in part by Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the esteemed Dean of the College, along with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Department of Biology, and several respected faculty members.
