Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and in cooperation with Tesla Academy for Training and Professional Development, the Volunteer Work Unit at the College of Science organized a training workshop entitled “Professional Presentations Using Creative Electronic Tools” on Thursday, October 9, 2025. This workshop was part of the developmental and professional development program aimed at enhancing students’ skills in academic communication and effective scientific presentations.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Abdulbasit Al-Rubaie, who discussed the most important modern electronic tools and platforms for designing interactive presentations, such as Prezi, Canva, and Pitch. These are among the most prominent platforms used globally for developing academic presentations and research projects in a professional and innovative manner.

The workshop aimed to develop students’ skills in preparing presentations that combine visual creativity with the organization of scientific content, along with practical applications demonstrating how to use digital tools to present ideas in an interactive and engaging way.

The workshop also addressed common mistakes in presentation design and how to correct them, emphasizing the importance of adopting modern technologies to support learning and academic communication.

At the end of the event, participating students received a training booklet containing over 100 professional design tools, along with 20 ready-made academic presentation templates that can be used in preparing future research and projects.
