Faculty Member from the College of Science Chairs PhD Dissertation Defense Committee

As part of ongoing efforts to support scientific research and advance postgraduate studies, Professor Dr. Mohsen Ayoub Issa, a faculty member at the College of Science, University of Mosul, chaired the PhD dissertation defense committee for the student Wasan Sabah Mohammed. The dissertation was entitled:

“Enhancing the Efficiency of Certain Antibiotics and Disinfectants Using Biologically Synthesized Nanoparticles Against Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from the Environment of Tikrit Teaching Hospital.”

The defense was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in the late Dr. Jaed Zaidan Hall at the College of Education for Women, Tikrit University, in the presence of a distinguished group of specialized academics from the Universities of Tikrit and Mosul.

During the session, the research themes and findings of the dissertation were discussed in depth from a scientific perspective. Following a thorough evaluation, the dissertation was approved after fulfilling all approved academic requirements.

This participation reflects the commitment of the College of Science at the University of Mosul to supporting scientific research and strengthening the role of faculty members and students in scientific and applied innovation.
