As part of strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between the University and educational institutions, a delegation of staff and students from Al-Naqaa Intermediate School for Girls visited the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Mosul, on Tuesday, 17 February 2026. The visitors were warmly received by the department’s administration and faculty members.

The visit included a comprehensive scientific tour of the Department of Chemistry laboratories, during which the students were introduced to the Biochemistry Laboratories. Detailed explanations were provided regarding laboratory activities, the scientific equipment used, and their role in conducting analyses and experiments. The visitors were also briefed on laboratory safety procedures and the importance of adhering to safety regulations.

In addition, the students were introduced to the academic programs offered by the Department of Chemistry, as well as the future educational and career opportunities available to its graduates.

At the conclusion of the visit, the school staff expressed their sincere appreciation to the administration and faculty members of the Department of Chemistry for their warm reception and excellent organization. They emphasized the importance of such visits in motivating students and fostering their interest in science, learning, and scientific research.
