Department of Geology and Petroleum Organizes Training Course on “Earth’s Climate Between Crisis and Solutions: Towards Renewed Environmental Awareness”

The Department of Geology and Petroleum at the College of Science is organizing a training course within its continuing education program titled “Earth’s Climate Between Crisis and Solutions: Towards Renewed Environmental Awareness,” to be held at 10:00 a.m. from 10–15 March 2026, in the discussion hall of the department.

The course aims to highlight the climate challenges facing the planet and to review key scientific and environmental solutions to address them, thereby enhancing environmental awareness and promoting sustainability concepts among participants.

The course will be delivered by:

  1. Assistant Lecturer Dr. Rana Abdulilah Mahmood
  2. Assistant Lecturer Dr. Rawa Mohammed Hassan
  3. Assistant Lecturer Dr. Alaa Saad Hamed

The Department invites faculty members, students, and those interested to attend and actively participate, given the importance of the topic in supporting environmental culture and raising awareness on climate and sustainability issues.
