Day Two of the National Reviewer Team’s Visit to Audit Accreditation Eligibility for the Chemistry and Physics Programs – College of Science / University of Mosul

The National Reviewer Team, under the National Council for Accreditation of Science Programs, continued its evaluation work on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The visit aimed to audit the program eligibility for the Departments of Chemistry and Physics at the College of Science, University of Mosul.
The second day featured a comprehensive field tour, where the team inspected the scientific laboratories in both departments. They evaluated available resources and their readiness to support the practical components of the educational process. The tour also included visits to faculty offices to review the academic working environment.
Additionally, the reviewer team held a meeting with the faculty members to discuss the scientific and academic aspects of both programs, alongside development mechanisms aligned with approved accreditation standards.
The visit further involved inspecting chemical storage facilities to verify ongoing storage and safety procedures, ensuring their compliance with certified standards.
This visit is part of a comprehensive evaluation process designed to ensure the fulfillment of academic accreditation requirements and to enhance the quality of educational programs at the College of Science.
The College of Science reaffirms its continuous commitment to developing its educational and research environment, advancing its academic programs in line with both national and international standards.
