Scientific Visit by Students of Iraq Al-Hadara Primary School for Girls

As part of its efforts to strengthen scientific and educational communication with academic institutions, the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science received, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, a scientific visit from the students of Iraq Al-Hadara Primary School for Girls. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the university environment and familiarize them with the basics of applied sciences.

The visit included a guided tour inside the department’s laboratories, where the students were introduced to the nature of laboratory work. The teaching staff provided simplified explanations about the role and importance of the Department of Chemistry, in addition to demonstrating laboratory equipment and safety procedures in a manner appropriate to the students’ age and educational level.

For their part, the school administration and accompanying supervisors expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm reception and excellent organization, praising such initiatives that help foster scientific curiosity among students and encourage their early interest in science.

This visit is part of the College of Science’s ongoing efforts to support educational activities and initiatives that contribute to building scientific awareness and establishing a strong knowledge base among school students.
