College of Science Shines at the 59th Anniversary Celebration of the University of Mosul with Distinguished Participation Reflecting Creativity and Institutional Pride

In a festive atmosphere filled with pride and celebration, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, officially inaugurated the activities marking the 59th Anniversary of the University of Mosul, attended by distinguished academic and official figures, with broad participation from the university’s colleges and scientific centers.

The College of Science took part in this significant occasion with an outstanding contribution that reflected its academic standing and leading role in education and scientific research. Through its scientific outputs and diverse activities, the college showcased the talents of its students and the creativity of its academic staff.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Adel Shareef, and several heads of academic departments, including Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Fakhri, Head of the Department of Medical Physics, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Muneer Suhail, Head of the Department of New and Renewable Energy, in addition to a number of faculty members and students of the college.

This participation reaffirmed that the College of Science has always been, and continues to be, a beacon of knowledge and excellence, playing a fundamental role in preparing highly qualified scientific professionals while maintaining an active presence in various university and national events.

The celebration also embodied a strong spirit of institutional belonging and collaborative engagement, further reinforcing the image of the college as a vibrant academic environment that continues its journey of distinction and achievement while contributing effectively to building a brighter and more prosperous scientific future.
