By the will of Allah, the Department of Biology at the College of Science will hold the defense of the Master’s thesis submitted by Khalil Nawaf Gharib Khudhur, entitled:

“Measuring the Level of Inflammatory Cytokines as a Risk Factor in Type 2 Diabetes Patients in Nineveh”

The thesis aims to measure the levels of inflammatory cytokines in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Nineveh Province and investigate their role as risk factors in the progression of the disease and its complications. The study seeks to provide accurate biological markers that may contribute to improving diagnostic strategies and medical follow-up for diabetic patients.

The thesis defense will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, 14 May 2026, in Professor Dr. Mahmoud Al-Haj Qasim Hall, Department of Biology, College of Science.
