Under the patronage of the Deanship of the College of Science, and as part of the University of Mosul’s guidance and community outreach efforts aimed at protecting young people and fostering a well-informed society, the College has launched a comprehensive awareness campaign under the slogan:

“Together Towards a Drug-Free Future… The Choice You Make Today Shapes Your Life Tomorrow.”

The campaign aims to raise awareness among students and young people about the dangers of narcotic substances and their devastating effects on individuals and society. It highlights the stark contrast between two different paths:

• The Path of Addiction: Leading to pain, loss, isolation, and a bleak future.
• The Path of Awareness: Leading to health, success, hope, and a better quality of life.

The campaign provides students with a number of important preventive guidelines and recommendations:

All members of the community are encouraged to report suspicious cases by contacting the emergency number 911. The campaign stresses that all reports will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
