By the grace of Allah, the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Mosul, will hold the defense of the Master’s thesis submitted by Ms. Sana Saad Hashim Ahmed, entitled:

“Isolation and Molecular Diagnosis of Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria and Study of Some of Its Biological Applications”

The thesis aims to isolate and molecularly identify phosphate-solubilizing bacteria and investigate some of their biological applications. The study seeks to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly strategies for enhancing soil fertility, improving plant growth and productivity, and promoting innovative biofertilization approaches that support sustainable agriculture.

The thesis defense will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, 7 June 2026, in the Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Haj Qasim Hall at the Department of Biology.
