The College of Science at the University of Mosul has completed the submission and verification of hard-copy application files for candidates applying to its graduate programs for the 2026–2027 academic year, reflecting the growing interest in the scientific disciplines offered by the College.

According to the preliminary statistics, the approximate number of applicants for each academic department is as follows:

• Department of Biology: 132 applicants
• Department of Chemistry: 115 applicants
• Department of New and Renewable Energies: 26 applicants
• Department of Geology and Petroleum: 23 applicants
• Department of Physics: 18 applicants

The designated committees continue to finalize the verification process in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations and admission guidelines, in preparation for announcing the names of applicants eligible to sit for the competitive entrance examination.

The Deanship of the College also encourages all applicants to regularly follow the College’s official platforms for the latest updates and announcements regarding graduate admissions, including the list of eligible candidates and examination instructions.
