As part of the University of Mosul’s commitment to strengthening its academic presence in national initiatives aimed at advancing higher education institutions, the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, participated as a member of the University of Mosul delegation, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, alongside the deans of the University’s colleges, in the first edition of the National Strategic Training Program, entitled:

“Iraqi University Leadership Towards Excellence and Sustainability 2030.”

The program, organized jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Planning in Baghdad from 21–24 June 2026, represents an advanced national platform dedicated to developing the competencies of university leaders in the fields of strategic planning, governance, and institutional leadership, in line with the principles of sustainable development and Iraq’s future vision.
