The Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, began receiving graduate students accepted in the master’s and doctoral programs at the Departments of the college, marking the start of a new academic year, amid a distinctive academic and welcoming atmosphere. The new students come directly to mark the beginning of their scientific and research career at the College, which is keen to provide them with an appropriate academic environment and support their career in a way that enhances their scientific and research capabilities and contributes to achieving excellence and achievement. On the direct level, the dean of the Faculty of science, professor Dr. Hiam Adel Ibrahim, accompanied by the head of the Chemistry Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Ahmed dhanoun, and the director of the Graduate Studies Division, Dr. Mahmoud Sobhi Mahmoud, welcomed the new students, wishing them success in their academic career, listened to their queries and needs, and provided them with a number of directives related to adherence to university regulations and instructions, perseverance in study and scientific research, and taking advantage of the scientific and laboratory capabilities provided by the college. We wish all graduate students a successful academic year, excellence and scientific achievement.
