Within the framework of scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities, assistant professor Dr. Omar khalok Mohammed Sajid, head of the Department of Earth and petroleum sciences at the Faculty of Science – University of Mosul, participated in the discussion Committee of the master’s thesis of researcher Zahra Fadel Hadi, from the Faculty of Science – University of Tikrit, on her thesis tagged ” sedimentary and reservoir comparative study of the formations of the Aptian cycle in selected wells from the fields of the Kirkuk region, northern Iraq ” . The discussion took place on Monday, September 7, 2026 at the Faculty of science, Tikrit University . At the end of the discussion, the dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq Alwan, presented a book of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Omar khalouq for taking the trouble to travel and participate in the student’s discussion . This participation comes as a confirmation of the distinguished scientific presence of the Faculty of science teachers and their active contribution to supporting the process of graduate studies and scientific research and enhancing academic cooperation and exchange of experiences between Iraqi universities .
