The Faculty of science organizes an awareness campaign on family upbringing and the role of women in preparing generations

The women’s Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Science, in cooperation with the women’s Affairs Unit at the presidency of Mosul University and the Student Activities Division / volunteer work unit, held an awareness campaign to distribute brochures entitled “Family upbringing and the role of women in preparing generations through modern educational methods”, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the life sciences department and the gardens of the Student Center. The campaign witnessed the participation of assistant teacher Alain Moufak Khalil, assistant teacher Maha Khaled Abdel Amir, assistant teacher Nour Al-Huda Ahmed Mohamed Taher, and Mrs. Fatima essameddine Salah. The campaign aimed to enhance family awareness by introducing modern methods of Education based on dialogue and listening, positive reinforcement, and education by good example, instead of traditional methods, as well as highlighting the pivotal role of women in instilling moral values in children, providing a safe family environment, ensuring the balanced use of technology, and developing children’s skills. The campaign also focused on the importance of building a self-confident, responsible and creative generation with the skills and values that qualify them to contribute to building society and creating a better future. This campaign is part of the College of science’s efforts to enhance family and community awareness, and support initiatives that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular 3، 4، 5، 10، 16، 17.
