Vision
The Department of Medical Physics offers Physics, Chemistry and Computer Sciences to study biological phenomena and make use of them. It also interprets and solves biological problems at various levels and studies life in its diversity and complexity. The department aims to prepare specialized teaching staff and graduates in this field using the latest
scientific curricula and serving the community.

Mission
We work hard to qualify competent academic staff in the field of Biophysics that combine knowledge and specialization in Biology and Physics together and be able to harness this knowledge and benefit from it in both academic and applied sides. This will definitely contribute positively to our society and the academic institutions.


Objectives

1- Preparing specialized Teaching staff in modern fields of Biology and Physics using the latest scientific curricula at a distinguished level competing with the corresponding departments in international universities.
2- Encouraging students to benefit from this knowledge practically to increase their experience and skills.
3- Offering Applied research that serves different departments and many kinds of institutions in our society.
4- Graduates of this department will be a source of support for medical, academic and other institutions and directorates of the community.
