Under the slogan of the President of Mosul University, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, “Mosul University is in the service of society” and under the supervision of Mrs. Dean of the College of Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Hayam Adel Ibrahim Al-Taii ..A scientific team from the University of Mosul / College of Science and in cooperation with volunteers from the Nineveh team was able to first prepare (575) liters of medical ethanol alcohol which is one of the first lines of defense against the spread of Corona virus and distribute it free of charge to hospitals and health centers, knowing that there is a scarcity in Mosul city and demand is high for ethyl alcohol as a result of its heavy use during the outbreak of the Corona virus.
