As part of its efforts to enhance students’ skills and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application—and in alignment with Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education)—the Summer Training Committee of the Department of Biology conducted field visits to several hospitals in Mosul, including Mosul General, Ibn Sina, Al-Jumhuri, and Ibn Al-Atheer Hospitals.

These visits aimed to monitor the progress of students’ summer training across various laboratory units. The committee followed up on student attendance based on the scheduled training days and ensured they were gaining valuable hands-on experience in real medical environments.

The visits also included extending appreciation to the medical staff for their constructive cooperation and for providing students with practical knowledge and expertise that play a vital role in refining their scientific and professional skills.
