The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science, University of Mosul, discussed a PhD dissertation entitled:
“Preparation of Some Transition Metal Complexes with Schiff Bases Derived from Certain Fluoroquinolones, Characterization Using Physicochemical Techniques, and Study of Their Biological Activity”
on Monday, August 11, 2025.

The session was attended by the Head of the Department, several faculty members, and postgraduate students.
The study, conducted by Ahmed Abdul Sattar Dawood Suleiman, aimed to explore the synthesis, structural characterization, and biological evaluation of these compounds.
