University of Mosul Participates in the Governmental and Private Education Festival in Nineveh
On Sunday evening, August 17, 2025, the Governmental and Private Education Festival was launched at the Scout Camp grounds in Nineveh Province, organized by Basma Group in cooperation with the Nineveh Education Directorate, with wide participation from universities and colleges under the theme: “The Gifted Generation.”
The festival was attended by Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayyat, Head of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Administrative Assistant, and Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Science.
The College of Science had a remarkable participation through a collection of innovative scientific projects presented by its students, reflecting the advanced academic and research level of the College.
This participation came in line with the festival’s goals to showcase students’ scientific and artistic talents and innovations, and to strengthen bridges of cooperation and communication between educational institutions in the province, in the presence of a distinguished audience of academics and education enthusiasts.
