As part of its commitment to enhancing safety and security standards in educational and research laboratories, the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Control conducted a field and inspection visit to the Departments of Chemistry and Earth Sciences at our college.

The purpose of this visit was to monitor the implementation of regulations and guidelines related to handling chemical, nuclear, biological, and radiological materials, and to ensure that safety procedures adopted in the laboratories provide a secure environment for students, faculty, and researchers.

The inspection tour included reviewing laboratories, scientific equipment, storage and handling procedures for various materials, as well as discussing the inspection team’s observations with the concerned departments.

This visit comes within the framework of the periodic inspection program carried out by the Authority across all colleges that house laboratories containing such materials, reaffirming adherence to both national and international safety standards.
