Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Ibrahim, and the supervision of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the follow – up of the head of the Department of chemistry, prof. Dr. Salam Jassim Mohammed, and within the continuing education programs, the Department of chemistry, in cooperation with the rehabilitation, employment and follow-up unit at the College of Science and the Sustainable Development Unit in the University of Mosul chaired a scientific course entitled “qualification conditions in medical laboratories” for the period October 28-30, 2025, delivered by A. Prpf. Dr. Louay Abdali from the Department of chemistry and A. M. The praise of Yacoub Youssef from the Department of new and renewable energies, attended by a number of teachers and students of the Department. The course aimed to introduce students to laboratory work and the conditions for conducting medical examinations in order to raise the efficiency of medical laboratory staff and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. And also to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results of medical examinations through the application of qualifying standards and the dissemination of a culture of quality and accreditation among employees of medical laboratories and health centers.

We wish our students to teach full-time and be creative in their academic and research career to serve the community.
