The second day of the visit of the National Resident team at the College of science

The National assessor team of the National Council for accreditation of science specialization programs continued its visit to the Faculty of science on its second day, dedicated to evaluating the program of the Department of new and renewable energies, headed by Prof. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, chairman of the National Council for the accreditation of science specialization programs / University of Diyala, accompanied by the director of quality assurance at the presidency of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Noha Salim.

The evaluators team went to the new and renewable energies section, where an initial meeting was held to present the work plan and distribute the tasks of the second day, in preparation for the start of field audits.

The tasks of this day included:

  • Comprehensive audit of the Department’s infrastructure, including classrooms, college rooms, and the library.
  • Access to sports and artistic activities, including stadiums, ceremonies, and spaces dedicated to student activities.
  • Assessment of green spaces and the university environment within the accreditation requirements.

This visit comes as part of the field assessment procedures aimed at verifying the readiness of the department to meet the accreditation standards, in preparation for the preparation of final recommendations. The College of science affirms its continuous commitment to improving the quality of academic programs and promoting a sound educational environment that keeps pace with national and international standards.

The college appreciates the efforts of the National assessor’s team and its cooperation, wishing academic gains that enhance the status of its scientific programs and support its march towards full program accreditation.
