The third and final day of the visit of the National Resident team at the College of science

The National assessor team of the National Council for the accreditation of science majors programs concluded its visit to the College of science on its third and last day, dedicated to completing the evaluation of the program of the Department of new and renewable energies, headed by Prof. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, chairman of the National Council for the accreditation of science majors programs / University of Diyala, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Noha Salim, Director of quality assurance at the presidency of the University of Mosul.

Events of the third day :

The meeting with students, graduates and teaching staff, was interspersed with flexible breaks in line with the needs of the team members, in order to identify the outputs of the department and its support mechanisms for its students and graduates and to get acquainted with their opinions and aspirations.

A field tour to see the Department’s infrastructure, including classrooms, laboratories, offices, and related service facilities.

An internal team meeting to review the evaluation results and consolidate observations.

The final meeting with the dean of the College of Science, the assistants and the head of the department, during which the final remarks were discussed and the readiness of the data and documents related to the accreditation standards were discussed.

Finalize the official report of the visit and document the final recommendations.

This field visit comes within the framework of enhancing the culture of quality within the college, and supporting its quest to achieve full programmatic accreditation of its scientific programs, in line with national requirements and keeping pace with international academic developments.

The College of science confirms its commitment to implement the recommendations of the team and work on the sustainability of an advanced academic environment that supports scientific research and serves the community, expressing its gratitude to the National assessor team for its efforts and fruitful cooperation, hoping that the results of this visit will contribute to achieving scientific gains that raise the level of the programs provided.
