A discussion session at the College of Science entitled (Drugs and their impact on society)
Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and the supervision and participation of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and in conjunction with the Iraqi anti-drug week, the women’s Affairs Committee at our college, in cooperation with the university presidency, the Department of studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit and the on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, under the title (drugs and their impact on society), delivered by Assistant L. Alan is a good friend and friend of Assistant L. Hiba Faris Ahmed. This came in implementation of the third national plan for women, security and peace/ protection and Prevention pillar.
This session aimed to spread awareness among students about the dangers of drug use and its health and social impact, and to explain the reasons behind its spread, in addition to clarifying the laws and procedures adopted to reduce abuse and trafficking. The session also provided an open space for dialogue and discussion in order to promote awareness and responsibility among students on campus.
Our wishes are to teach full-time and creatively in order to serve the community.
