Four seminars for graduate students at the College of science

On Tuesday, October 18, 2025, four seminars were held at our college in the Departments of Biology sciences and chemistry, in the presence of a number of college teachers and students.

Submitted by each of:

  1. PhD student Rawaa Ahmed Khalaf from the Department of Biology Sciences under the supervision of the dean of the College of Science Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, about her tagged thesis:
    Determination of Bioactive Compounds Produced by Bacteria Isolated from Marl Clay. In it, she discussed the most important vital compounds produced by types of bacteria isolated from Marl mud, in addition to discussing the expected results and outputs of the research.
  2. Master Omar Abdus Salam mudallah from the Department of chemistry, supervised by Prof. Dr. Rabah Ali Khalil, the seminar on The effect of adding chlorhexidine to the gel of worm-like micelles on the stability and efficiency of sterilization.
  3. Master’s student Ahmed Farhan Haji Rashid from the Department of chemistry under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Amal Taha Yassin and L. Dr. Heba Abdus Salam Mohamed, the seminar on Estimation of a pharmaceutical compound in human blood serum by spectrophotometric methods.
  4. Master’s student Ahmed Abdul Rahman Abdullah from the Department of chemistry under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Iman Ismail Ahmed, the seminar on Evaluating the Rheological Performance and Durability of Asphalt Mixtures using Qaiyarah Asphalt Modified with Chemically Active Polymers.
