The Department of Biology sciences at the College of Science / University of Mosul elected the representative of the students of the first stage for the morning study on Sunday morning, December 14, 2025, in the presence and direct supervision of the head of the Department, Professor Dr. Amjad Abdul Hadi Mohammed, and the rapporteur of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Ali, and with the participation of all students of the first stage.

The election process took place in a fair democratic atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and responsibility among students, and the voting results resulted in the election of student Mohammed Mohammed Khalaf as a representative of the students of the first stage of Morning study in the Department.

During the event, the head of the department stressed the importance of the role played by the student representative, pointing out the need for him to have a number of positive qualities, foremost of which is commitment and discipline, the ability to communicate effectively with the head of the department and students, convey their opinions and suggestions in an objective and responsible spirit, and work to promote an academic environment based on respect and cooperation.

At the end of the event, the head of the Department congratulated the elected student, wishing him success in performing his duties in the best interests of the students.
