College of Science

Under the kind patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and under the direct supervision of the dean of the College of science, professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and in the presence of the administrative assistant to the dean of the college, assistant professor Dr. Omar Adel Sharif, and the participation of the heads of the Departments of medical physics and forensic evidence, the director of the December 20, 2025, which will last for three days.

This participation came through the volunteer team of clean water, with the active participation of teachers and students of the Faculty of science, where the campaign included the implementation of field work, including the inspection of water sources, purification and sterilization of water tanks, distribution of drinking water, in addition to providing awareness guidance to parents about the importance of clean water and ways to maintain health safety, in belief in the humanitarian and scientific role of the University in community service.

The initiative aims to contribute to providing clean and safe water to needy groups, reducing the health risks associated with water pollution, especially in light of the current environmental and health challenges, as well as enhancing community awareness of the importance of clean water in maintaining public health.

Through its active participation in this campaign, the College of science confirms its constant keenness to support humanitarian and community initiatives, harness scientific expertise and youth energies to serve the local community, and its harmony with the vision of Mosul University in building a person and serving the community along with its scientific mission.
