Samples were collected from the Kolosh Formation rocks, and the spacing between samples was determined based on changes in lithological characteristics.

The relative age and paleoecological environment of the Kolosh Formation were determined.

The study recommends… The current study involves conducting sedimentary and chemical studies in large areas of the formation or areas where the formation is widespread in Iraq.

The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Nasreen Malallah Aziz, with members Professor Dr. Omar Ahmed Mawloud Al-Badrani, Lecturer Dr. Rana Abdul-Ilah Mahmoud, and Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Sultan Shihab Ahmed, who also served as supervisor.
