As evening falls and the passing of one year draws near, we welcome the new year filled with hope, entrusting the past with its memories, and looking forward to more peaceful and merciful days.

The College of Science is honored to extend its warmest congratulations and best wishes to the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and to all members of our beloved college and university, and to our dear Iraqi people, on the occasion of the New Year.

We pray to God Almighty to have mercy on all those we lost during the past year, and to make the new year a year of goodness, protection, and tranquility, far removed from loss and disappointment, and free from pain and absence.

O God, grant us a new year in which our hearts find peace, our souls find solace, and in which we and our loved ones are granted safety and well-being.

We pray to God Almighty that this year will be a blessed and auspicious one, filled with progress and prosperity, and crowned with security, safety, and peace for our beloved city and homeland.
