College of Science

On Monday, January 5, 2026, the dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, met with a number of students of the “I study in Iraq” program, in a meeting that falls within the keenness of the Deanship of the faculty to follow up on the affairs of international students and get acquainted with their academic reality and living. During the meeting, a number of topics related to the progress of the educational process and the challenges that students may face during their studies were discussed, as well as listening to their comments and suggestions, and working to overcome obstacles to contribute to providing a supportive and stimulating university environment.

During the meeting, Mrs. Al-Ameed affirmed her full support for the students of the program, praising their efforts and their keenness on scientific excellence, and stressing the college’s endeavor to provide the best academic and administrative services, reflecting the bright picture of higher education in Iraq and enhancing the status of Iraqi universities at the regional and international levels.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Faculty of science’s interest in enhancing direct communication with students and supporting programs to attract international students, in line with the goals of the program in consolidating scientific and cultural cooperation.
