A teacher from Mosul University participates in the first meeting of the scientific and ethical committee for research at the Nineveh health department
Within the framework of joint cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Nineveh health department, and in coordination with the research management unit at the training and Development Center, the first meeting of the scientific and ethical research committee for this year was held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Al-Salam hospital (alternative location), in the presence and participation of Professor Dr. Thikra Ali Alloush, a member of the committee and a member of the Association of the University of Mosul.
The meeting discussed the proposed research submitted by researchers at various health institutions and university faculties in Nineveh and Tikrit governorates, with the aim of evaluating them according to the approved scientific and ethical standards, in order to ensure the sobriety of research, its quality and its service to health and community goals.
This participation comes within the framework of strengthening the sustainable partnership between the academic and health institutions of the state, and supporting the process of Applied Scientific Research to contribute to the development of Health and Research reality in the governorate.
