The dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, extends her sincere congratulations and blessings to the president of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, on the occasion of the victory of two students from our dear University, Dalal Mahmoud Mohammed from the College of education for Humanities, and Dima Omar Mumtaz from the College of Medicine, in the Higher Education Award for reading in its third edition for the year 2025, organized by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research as part of a cultural and intellectual initiative aimed at promoting the culture of reading and developing cognitive awareness among students of Iraqi universities.

This year, the competition witnessed a wide participation of more than 27 thousand students from various universities, centered on reading and analyzing the book The problem of culture by the Arab thinker Malik bin Nabi, with prizes amounting to 100 million Iraqi dinars distributed to twenty winners from various universities.

On this blessed occasion, Mrs. Dean expresses her deepest feelings of pride and pride in this honorable achievement, which reflects the keenness of the University of Mosul and its academic leadership to nurture young energies and encourage them to creativity and excellence in various cultural and scientific fields, wishing our dear students more success and giving to serve science and the homeland.
