Establishing a Master’s program in New and Renewable Energy Sciences at the College of Science

College of Science: A New Innovation and Continued Excellence
The College of Science announces the establishment of a Master’s program in New and Renewable Energy Sciences within the Department of Energy, for the first time, following approval from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.
This initiative comes as part of the ongoing support provided by the University of Mosul, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, to enhance postgraduate programs and advance the scientific and research progress at the university.
This achievement is the fruit of the dedicated efforts of the College of Science, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the Head of the Department of Energy, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Munir Suhail, in constructive collaboration with the department’s faculty and students, in preparing the requirements for establishing this program, reflecting a spirit of teamwork and a commitment to scientific excellence.
The new Master’s program aims to prepare specialized scientific personnel capable of providing innovative technological and environmental solutions in the field of renewable energy, and to promote reliance on clean energy sources, thus contributing to the consolidation of sustainability principles in our beloved country.
The College of Science affirms its continued support for rigorous scientific initiatives and its encouragement of research and innovation, thereby enhancing the academic standing of the University of Mosul and fulfilling students’ aspirations to serve the community and the nation.
