Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Abdul Yasser Al-Aboudi, the University of Baghdad hosted the first conference on volunteer work. More than fifty public and private universities from across Iraq participated, including the University of Mosul, which won third place in the competition. Its student volunteer team was honored for their efforts in implementing volunteer and humanitarian initiatives both within and outside the university. The team consisted of ten male and ten female students, including one of our college’s students, Ikhlas Dawood Meejan. This achievement is a culmination of the university’s efforts to instill a culture of volunteerism and cultivate a sense of social responsibility among students.
