College of Science Concludes Sustainable University Week with Distinguished Recognition and a Remarkable Achievement

In a scene reflecting academic excellence and dedication, the activities of the Sustainable University Week, held under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, concluded on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jalili Hall. The College of Science recorded a distinguished and commendable presence, crowned by a series of prestigious recognitions that highlighted its scientific standing and leading role in supporting the university’s mission.
Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Science, was honored in recognition of the college’s outstanding participation in the Sustainable University Week activities and its active contribution in showcasing the college’s distinguished academic and scientific achievements.
Professor Dr. Laith Ahmed Najm from the Department of Physics also received well-deserved recognition in appreciation of his scientific contributions, academic excellence, and effective role in supporting scientific and research activities within the university.
Likewise, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Basil Fadhil from the Department of Chemistry was honored for his valuable scientific efforts and distinguished research contributions, which have enhanced the university’s scholarly output and strengthened its academic reputation.
This collective achievement reflects the College of Science’s continuous journey toward greater excellence and leadership as a well-established academic institution that actively serves the community and contributes significantly to the university’s scientific accomplishments.
