Faculty Member from the College of Science Chairs Master’s Thesis Defense Committee

As part of ongoing efforts to promote scientific research and support postgraduate studies, Prof. Dr. Laith Ahmed Najm, a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Mosul, chaired the Master’s thesis examination committee for the thesis submitted by Ms. Nada Anwar Shakir, entitled:

“The Effect of Irradiation and Preparation Conditions on the Physical Properties of CdO Nanostructured Thin Films and Their Applications in Clean Energy.”

The thesis defense was held on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, in the Discussion Hall of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul, in the presence of a distinguished group of academics and researchers.

The session featured an in-depth scientific discussion of the thesis objectives, methodology, and research findings. Following a thorough evaluation, the committee approved the thesis after it had fulfilled all approved academic and scientific requirements.

This academic participation reflects the continuous efforts of the College of Science to support scientific research and strengthen the role of its faculty members in supervising postgraduate students and actively contributing to scientific and academic committees. Such activities contribute to fostering a culture of innovation, academic excellence, and research advancement.
