PhD Students in the Department of Biology Deliver Their Academic Seminars

As part of the requirements for the final examinations of PhD students in the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Mosul, postgraduate students presented their academic seminars on Sunday, 7 June 2026, in the department’s lecture halls.

The seminars were attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the Head of the Department of Biology, Prof. Dr. Amjad Abdulhadi Mohammed, along with faculty members and postgraduate students.

The presentations were delivered by PhD students from the department’s three specializations: Botany, Zoology, and Microbiology. These seminars constitute one of the essential requirements for the final examinations of the second semester and provide students with an opportunity to present and discuss their research progress, demonstrate their scientific competencies, and engage in academic dialogue within their respective fields of specialization.

The activity reflects the Department’s commitment to promoting scientific research, enhancing academic performance, and supporting postgraduate students in achieving the highest standards of scholarly excellence.
