The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, has awarded a letter of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Muhammad, a faculty member in the Department of Biology, in recognition of his distinguished scientific efforts in registering seven bacterial isolates in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) GenBank database.

This recognition comes in appreciation of this scientific achievement, which reflects the advancement of research at the university and contributes to strengthening its international academic standing, in addition to representing a valuable addition to its academic trajectory.

The letter also included the granting of one-month seniority for promotion and salary increment purposes, in accordance with applicable regulations, as a recognition of his outstanding scientific contributions.
