Workshop at the College of Science on “Hope as a Civilizational Value in the Ramadan Discourse”

The University Counseling Division at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the college, the University Presidency Counseling Department, and Al-Noor University, is organizing a workshop titled “Hope as a Civilizational Value in the Ramadan Discourse.”

The workshop will be held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Conference Hall of the Department of Chemistry.

The workshop aims to highlight the value of hope in Ramadan discourse and its role in enhancing psychological and social balance, as well as promoting positive human values in society. It also seeks to support mental well-being and foster a religious and cultural discourse that encourages optimism and social cohesion.

The workshop will be delivered by:

  1. Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim
  2. Assistant Prof. Dr. Irada Abdulkhaleq Khalil
  3. Dr. Karam Muzaffar Jasim

The organizing bodies invite faculty members, students, and interested participants to attend and actively engage, given the intellectual and humanitarian importance of promoting a culture of hope and positivity in society.
