As part of the scientific activities of the faculty members of the College of Science – University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Falah Abd Mohammed Al-Maamari, a faculty member in the Department of Geology and Petroleum, participated as a member of the examination committee for a Master’s thesis entitled “Sedimentology and Mineralogy of the Fatha Formation Sequences in Northeastern Iraq”, submitted by the student Randa Asaad Safar from the Department of Applied Geology at the College of Science – University of Tikrit.

The participation of faculty members from the College of Science in academic defense committees comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation between Iraqi universities, supporting the advancement of scientific research, and exchanging expertise in a way that contributes to improving scientific and research standards at the national level.
