Department of Biology Holds a Workshop Entitled “Environmental Immunology and Its Impact on Human Health”

The Department of Biology at the College of Science is organizing a workshop as part of its Continuing Education activities entitled “Environmental Immunology and Its Impact on Human Health”, to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Dr. Mahmoud Al-Haj Qasim Hall, Department of Biology.

The workshop aims to highlight the concept of environmental immunology and examine the effects of various environmental factors on the human immune system and their implications for human health, thereby enhancing scientific and health awareness among participants.

The workshop will be delivered by:

  1. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abduljabbar Hussein Al-Tobji
  2. Assistant Lecturer Alia Natheer Ahmed
  3. Assistant Lecturer Nadia Khalid Mustafa
  4. Assistant Lecturer Ibtisam Raad Abdullah

The Department invites faculty members, students, and all interested individuals to attend and actively participate in this workshop, given the contemporary scientific and health significance of the topic.
