When knowledge evolves from theoretical understanding into institutional vision, and when scientific minds are guided by effective leadership, distinguished universities capable of creating lasting impact emerge. Academic administration is not separate from science; rather, it is an extension of it, and its success is measured by its ability to organize scientific capabilities, direct them toward serving the institution and society, and steadily advance toward achieving strategic goals.

Under the generous patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the College of Science proudly honors a distinguished group of its academic and administrative staff who have undertaken leadership and administrative responsibilities as department heads, assistant deans, committee members, and holders of various administrative positions, successfully combining academic excellence with effective management.

This recognition is a tribute to efforts that have extended beyond classrooms and laboratories to include planning, organization, decision-making, academic and administrative follow-up, strengthening institutional discipline, and providing a stable university environment that supports education and scientific research.

Their administrative competence has been clearly reflected in the College’s achievements, including attaining leading positions among Iraqi universities in the National Ranking results, receiving an “Excellent” evaluation for academic and scientific performance, increasing scientific publications, establishing new postgraduate programs, and actively pursuing academic accreditation.

While highly appreciating these responsible administrative efforts, we affirm that the development and stability witnessed by our College are the result of academic leaders who understand that leadership is a responsibility rather than a privilege, and that successful administration stems from a deep understanding of the university’s mission and objectives. This celebration also recognizes a number of outstanding students, who represent an active component of the university community and a model of positive engagement within a well-organized academic environment.

This recognition reflects our firm belief that the integration of science and administration forms the foundation of successful and effective academic institutions, and that the administrative experiences led by distinguished academics constitute a valuable asset to the College’s present and future journey.
