Students of the Departments of life sciences, chemistry and medical physics at the Faculty of science have started their summer training in a number of health institutions in Nineveh Governorate, as part of the training program aimed at developing their practical skills and enhancing their applied expertise, and following up on the supervisory committees of distinguished professors.

The students were distributed to a number of hospitals, including Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, Ibn Athir Teaching Hospital, Hamdaniya General Hospital, and Qayyarah General Hospital, giving them the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience in a real work environment, contributing to the preparation of qualified scientific cadres that meet the requirements of the labor market.

This training comes within the framework of the Faculty of science’s keenness to support the Applied side of its students and strengthen cooperation with health institutions in order to achieve integration between the academic and applied side.
