Assistant professor Dr. Saba Zaki Mahmoud, from the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of science at the University of Mosul, participated today, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in the discussion of the dissertation of a doctoral student (droun Essam Zaki), tagged:

“Evaluation of association between diabetes mellitus type II and nephropathy: genetic and biochemical study” The dissertation dealt with the study of the relationship between Type II diabetes and nephropathy, through the research of genetic and biochemical aspects associated with the disease, in order to enhance the understanding of indicators related to renal complications in people with diabetes. This participation confirms the distinguished academic presence of the Faculty of science teachers, their active contribution to the discussion of scientific research and graduate studies, and the strengthening of scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities
