The president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud al-Ibrahimi, awarded a letter of thanks and appreciation to the lecturer Dr. Mohammed Salah al-Din Abdul Faraj Mohammed from the Faculty of Science, with the consequent one-month allowance and promotion. This honor came in appreciation of his outstanding scientific efforts in registering three parasitic strains belonging to ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) in the database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which represents an important scientific addition to the research output of the Faculty of Science, and a contribution to enriching the global database with specialized scientific information. This honor comes in recognition of the scientific and research contribution of the University’s teachers, and to encourage them to continue their efforts in the field of scientific research and academic publishing, which contributes to enhancing the scientific and Research status of the University of Mosul.
